Hello. I’m David, and I’m the guy behind Cycling Analytics.

Cycling Analytics began life in 2011 because I didn’t think that there was anything available at the time that was designed for serious cyclists and also nice to use. At first, it was just a single page to test the possibility of running a system like this in the browser. The next year it became a proper website and allowed people to sign up and start using it, and it’s been growing since then.

These days I’m working on it full time from my home in Melbourne, Australia.

When I’m not sitting in front of a computer, I might be riding a bike, hiking up a mountain, or maybe juggling. I have a wide range of interests. At the time of writing, I’m up to reading about the Cold War in The Penguin History of the World.
